Humaaans vs unDraw
In the past, I have used a website called humaaans. Humaaans is a website tool that allows users to create vector-based illustrations of people. You can mix clothes, body shapes, and much more to create illustrations for your website.
Believe it or not, there is a plug-in that creates similar illustrations called unDraw. No attribution is required so that you can use these illustrations on your website for UX designs.
Let’s begin. You will find plugins in Adobe XD’s main menu, Plugins and select Browse Plugins. Or in the bottom left-hand corner is an icon, go ahead and click on that. Or, click on the + symbol to Browse Plugins. Your Creative Cloud account will launch with a list of all plugins. In the search field on the left, enter unDraw. Choose unDraw from the list. Click on Get.
- When you are ready, select unDraw.
- A window will pop up and a grid of free designs are there for you to browse.
- If you have a specific theme you’re looking for, you can click the search and specify your options
- Once you have found the design you like all you need to do is click the illustration and it’s copied right to your clipboard.
Back out to your workspace and paste, Command V for a Mac and Control V for the PC. Or Right-Click to paste. But, first, click on ‘Done’ to paste from the clipboard. All the designs are vectors so you can easily change colours based on your need. Select the vector by double-clicking it or once, and then click on fill on the right to change the colour. This is why undraw is an excellent plugin to speed up your design process and give your product a unique look.
