Learn to rotate your guidelines at an angle while working in your designs. Use keyboard shortcuts to increase your productivity too!
First of all, we need to turn our rulers on to do this right. Either use a keyboard shortcut, Command R for a Mac or Control R for a PC. Or you can use the drop-down menu, View, scroll down to select Rulers. You should be able to see the rulers now.
Place your cursor or arrow inside the rulers here. It doesn’t matter if it’s on the top or on the left side. Click and drag out a guideline. Next, click on the letter ‘R’ as in Robert, on your keyboard to select the Rotate Tool in the toolbox. Select the guideline and rotate your guideline in an angle. If you need to move the guideline, on your keyboard, click on the letter ‘V’ as in Vancouver to select the Move Tool to move the guideline. Click and drag the guideline to where you want it. How cool is that!?
