If you need to make selections that require straight lines and curves, then the Pen Tool is the one to use. Using the pen tool for the first time is a little bit frustrating or daunting. By far, the Pen Tool is the most accurate for making selections either in Illustrator or Photoshop.
The tutorial is recorded in Illustrator but uses the same techniques and tricks as well in Photoshop. With a little bit of practice and understanding, you can use the pen tool like a pro! Just remember to turn off the colour for Fill and have the stroke on only. It will make your life easier when you can see what you are doing!
