How to Hide or Remove Comments in Figma

Hide & Remove Comments Fast!

Are your Figma projects cluttered with comments? By default, comments are always visible unless you take action to hide or delete them. But there are several methods to hide those comments!

  • To quickly hide comments, use the Shift + C keyboard shortcut or click on the comments icon and access the settings in the far-right corner to hide comments.
  • Deleting comments is a permanent action, so be cautious. To delete a comment, locate it, click on the three dots icon, and choose “delete thread.”
  • Once a comment is resolved, you can hide it by marking it as resolved. Click on the three dots next to the comment and select “Mark as Resolved.”
  • To view all resolved comments, click on the comments icon and navigate to the far-right corner. Click on the three lines within a circle to reveal all resolved comments.

These methods ensure a seamless collaborative process in Figma while keeping track of progress. Remember, hiding comments is preferable to deletion if you may need to refer back to them later.
